Julie and Mark were established Miller-Pollard design clients. We began working together again when they downsized from a family home and vacation home to one beautiful condo in Madison Park. The floor plan remained the same and we replaced the hardwood flooring, carpet, wallpaper, lighting and paint throughout their 2700 sq ft. home. The floor plan remained the same and we replaced the hardwood flooring, carpet, wallpaper, lighting and paint throughout their 2700 sq ft. home. Their impeccable taste in design and furnishings made this a dream project. We chose traditional pieces from the Designer Furniture Galleries at the Seattle Design Center.

Windermere in Seattle was Mary’s family residence when we first began working together. We carefully chose the right apartment at Skyline that would showcase her art collection and Danish modern furnishings.  We decided on the perfect selection of existing furnishings to complement a new kitchen set and rug. We reupholstered favorite pieces to update them for the new space. It all came together with new kitchen Silestone countertops, paint, lighting and shoji screens.

Ann and I began working together in 2005, when I was working for Miller-Pollard. The projects included updating her living room and bedrooms with new furnishings and designing new custom wool rugs. In 2011, when she was planning her move from her spacious Madison Park home to a much smaller space at Horizon House, we began planning the transition process. We renovated the apartment with new hardwood floors, lighting, paint, porcelain tile bathrooms and custom built-in’s.  Her lovely furnishings and tasteful artwork all came together and completed the space beautifully.

Millie called me to help with her move from her Sand Point condominium, Seattle  to a two -bedroom apartment at Horizon House. Our goal was to retain as much of her wonderful furniture and accessories as possible without making the new space overcrowded. We met our goal and purchased only one, new, smaller- scale dining table. The space has wonderful light that blends nicely with the cheerful color palate. The garden print wallpaper carries the theme throughout. We wanted to create a cozy office space that functioned as a TV and music room. Beautiful built-in shelving and work space complete the room.

Elizabeth and Roy relocated to Seattle from Southern California. Their refined, classic style was our goal for their new residence at Horizon house. We choose timeless furnishings from the Designer Furniture Gallery at the Seattle Design Center. Thayer Coggin, Pearson, Charleston Forge were a few of the furniture lines we choose from. Sophisticated neutrals for paint and flooring kept the beautiful city view the focal point. Porcelain tile and frameless showers were installed to remain true to the classic, refined style. The Master bedroom showcases a beautiful Precedent upholstered bed and glamorous Currey & Co. mirrored bedside chest. The Hoovers new home displays a remarkable degree of taste and uniqueness.
